A UK
Project Manager for a Pharma company responsible for a number
of phase II and III studies across Europe required another
smaller scale, hospital study in the UK. The CRO handling the first
projects did not have the resources and there were few economies of
scale to be achieved by adjusting their present resources.
As the PM could facilitate the project in house, the main requirement
was monitoring and study management of the field
based CRAs. Klinikos was ideally situated to undertake this project with lower overheads,
transparent pricing, flexibility and experience.
A Pharma Company wanted to remain
strongly in control of their study by conducting pre study and initiation
visits themselves with only the monitoring and close out visits being
outsourced.
Klinikos had the resources to meet
the Client’s needs whilst
maintaining the flexibility requirements. Four regional monitors
were used in the UK to complete an intensive 2 weekly monitoring frequency
over 16 sites.
A European client had a study spread over 14 investigators
in 3 countries. Mainstream CROs did not have the monitoring resource
and would have had to delay the study start until the appropriate
resource was found.
Again, Klinikos had the necessary resources being a specialised provider field based
monitoring resource to start the project on schedule. |
